Why study Business?
An A Level in Business Studies can lead to varying careers such as Marketing, HR, Business Management and even Law. Many students go on and focus on international management providing them with the opportunity to travel later in life. It is an incredibly popular subject due to its diversity and ability to work well with a mixture of other subjects.

How will I study?
The majority of the course will be through classroom teaching and discussion. Students will be expected to complete one written piece of in-depth homework each week for marking along with an additional three hours of independent study which will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
How will I be assessed?
The Business Studies course is a linear course and is completed with three final exams at the end of Year 13.
- Paper 1: Business Influences (which contains macro and micro economics)
- Paper 2: Business Finance
- Paper 3: Synoptic paper which is a pre-released case study and includes all elements of the Business Studies course
