Applications Timeline

We are delighted you are considering applying to Didcot Sixth Form for September 2025 entry.

We encourage you browse the information about subject choices in the 'Curriculum' area of our website. Information about subject entry requirements can be found by clicking here. 

Applications for September 2025 will open on Wednesday 20th November at 6PM, and priority applications will be accepted until Monday 10th January 2025. Application is via online form, which will become live as soon as applications open.  

Key dates for September 2024 entry include:

Wednesday 20th November - Didcot Sixth Form Open Evening, 5.30PM - 8.00PM, St Birinus School Campus

Monday 10th January - deadline for applications for September 2025 entry 

Mid-January - subject 'blocking' issued, with subjects arranged into groups of lessons that are taught at the same time

January - February - guidance interviews for applicants

End of February - make 'Firm Options Choices' based on subject blocking

Mid-March - conditional offer letters issued by email to all applicants

Monday 23rd June - Rising Year 12 Induction Week (provisional) 

Thursday 21st August - GCSE results day and options clinic (provisional)

Friday 22nd August - enrolment deadline (provisional)
